Erika Jessop was born in Kittsee , Burgenland, Austria. After her studies in Vienna, Austria specializing in mathematics and sports, she worked as a teacher.

Continued studies brought her to theater school where she was involved in theater-productions and acting in movies and commercials .

She furthered her studies in dance styles such as belly dancing, biodanca, contact dancing and improvisational dance.

In 1996 she moved to France and is now established in Lübeck, Germany since 2000.
