Peter Savill was born in Romford, Essex, England and grew up in Greater London, England.

Fascinated by music at an early age he has been a musician since he was nine.

After moving to Germany in 1987 his passion for music and interest in electronic equipment lead him to focus on all things to do with sound, from audio engineering to sound design.

In 1995 he started working in theater and has been responsible for sound design, lighting design, music composition and the running of live performances since then.

After studying at the Academy for Graphics, Advertising, and Print in Hamburg from 2002 - 2004, he qualified as a Professional Media Designer & Producer in Audio and Visuals and turned his talents to all aspects of film, video production and journalism, from cameraman to editor, sound recordist and narration.

He joined the Safespace Project in 2004 finding the Fastwalkers concept very interesting, especially as he had a sighting in Greater London himself as a teenager.
